Child-friendly restauants in Singapore

Life! had a one-page article today covering child-friendly restaurants! Great for parents or in my case, friends with parents. We do go through some effort of planning some variety with regards where we meet for gatherings, while making sure the food esablishments cater to the needs of a friend with twin babies.

So, here's a summary of the eating spots, order according to HungryGoWhere.com ratings. Note: I have not visited most of these establishments before, so the below are just some points about these places based on the article, reviews. Please do visit reviews and call up the establishment if you want to find out more.

One-Ninety 7.1 fresh!
Kids will like: Bouncy castle, video screening, face painting and more.
Parents will like: Child minders who make sure sweaty, dirty kids are away from them and the brunch buffet!! :P
Parents may not like: the price
Where: Four Seasons Hotel

Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar 6.8 fresh!
Kids will like: The three sets of toys placed over low tables.
Parents will like: Variety of food and ambience
Parents may not like: Food and service may sometimes not be up to expectations
Where: Raffles City Shopping Centre

Disney Naturally 6.3 fresh!
Kids will like: Disney computer games, Disney movies on giant screens, games and play sheets at every table, mickey mouse-shaped pizzas
Parents will like: That the mickey mouse-shaped pizzas come with spinach, mauhahahaha! The cashless payment system that teach children about making purchases.
Parents may not like: The Disney theme, and kids screaming for Disney merchandise the next time they go shopping.
Where: Anchorpoint

The Ranch Home @ Dempsey Hill 6.2 fresh!
Kids will like: Outdoor swings and cosy corners for play
Parents will like: Having extra helpings of their childrens' ice cream as the kids abandon the food to play on the swings outside
Parents may not like: the food variety, and the need for self-service ordering.
Comprises two restaurants - CA*California & Ben & Jerry's

Ikea restaurant @ Ikea Tampines 5.2 OK
Kids will like: Pay Tent and playstations around the restaurant
Parents will like: The large space with more tables. No need to prepare baby food from home. Warming milk bottles at the two microwave ovens available. Halal queues for Muslims! Trolleys for carrying plates of food. Free parking.
Parents may not like: The cafetaria atmosphere, overcowded on weekends

Globetrotters 4.8 passable
Kids will like: Glassed-in play area with play structure and toys, colouring sheets and puzzles.
Parents will like: Going trigger-happy as their kids gather at the Kids' Bar for cooking workshops and decorating pizzas.
Parents may not like: The food is OK but don't expect a gastronomic experience! Service is inconcsistent, can be amazing, can be bad.
Where: United Square

Pasta de Waraku 4.2 passable
Kids will like: Getting to eat on the Pokemon or Hello Kitty plates, and toys
Parents will like: Toys or stationery freebies for each kid
Parents may not like: Food may not be value for the price you pay
Where: Novena Square 2

Food Junction @ Great World City Unrated
Kids will like: Fun corner with rocking horses and other toys. Ad-hoc story-telling sessions.
Parents will like: Variety in the kids menu, since 5 in 20 stalls sell kid's portions. And the food court price.
Parents may not like: The food court crowd.
